I'm sure it's hard to teach when many students struggle with English and a different culture. But The immigration status of her students isn't her business.
I suppose teachers should also mind their own business when they suspect a student is abused.
They can't mind their business on abuse since legally they are what do you call them? Reporters. If they suspect abuse they are legally obligated to report. Now if this teacher thinks someone is illegal I suppose she could privately call ICE. But if she goes to Twitter to complain about her students who may very well be here legally what exactly does she expect will happen? How exactly do undocumented immigrants go to school anyway since one needs birth certificates/immigration status papers and vaccination records to do so? No she has a history of being abusive to her students as someone else mentioned. It's one thing to be concerned about the problems immigration is causing to her school and another to be an ass about it.

Fort Worth School District has previously ruled that all students are entitled to an education regardless of immigration status.

If they are being abused by a criminal alien, then probably.

I don't know what Florida says. I do know they have policies for homeless children. As far as immigration status Idk because I honestly didn't care. Certainly I can understand everyone's concerns: teachers have to deal with spanish speaking children; children with cultural issues on top of everything else they must deal with. Maybe she has overcrowding at her school. Perhaps they're behind her students in their education. If she had addressed those specific issues I'd be fine with that. But she assumed her students were illegal and therefore must go back to where they came from. She doesn't know if they're legally here or not. She was rude, she has a history of being abusive, and therefore gets the boot. And I say good she sounds like what she's fit for is working for a health insurance company doing pre-auths. With her attitude towards people she'll fit right in.

Seems to me the abuse of children are mostly caused by good old american citizens-usually the American's child's parents, the stepparent, teachers, and coaches. Let's not forget abuse by Catholic priests who are, if foreign born, here legally.

I believe that it is federal law that undocumented children have a right to primary and secondary school education.

As a matter of fact yes I do. Children are usually abused by someone they know. Feel free to look up the stats. Teachers have to report suspected abuse. They're mandated reporters.

As per the SCOTUS case Plyler v. Doe, children can’t be denied a K-12 education based on their immigration status.

In Fort Worth every child has the right to a public education regardless of immigration status.
Fort Worth school trustees voted in favor of a resolution that declares the district “welcoming and safe” for all students, regardless of their immigration status.

Under the resolution, the district will “strive to create the safest possible environments for its students and employees … free of insecurity and fear.” The resolution references the district’s anti-discrimination policy and the 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision that all children, including those without an immigration status, are entitled to a public education.

Yet it's illegal to be in the US illegally.

Just more reason why we need a complete overhaul. Our current system makes no sense.
Our laws are fucked in the head - no doubt.
Worse than that - we don't even follow them when we (Democrats) don't want to

Example, King Barack Hussein not following even the slightest bit of law and creating the DACA out of thin air.

The Law - Hey the law says that those illegals are supposed to be deported -
BHO - f**k the law.
