Matters have taken an interesting turn in last month’s sudden shutdown of the solar observatory in remote Sunspot, Arizona. Evidently, the story caused a big enough stir to warrant an official explanation a month after the mysterious events of September 6, 2018.

Here ya go... the feds evacuated a solar observatory, and didn't tell anyone why. So, the conspiracy nuts all over the interwebs went crazy with their theories. Turns out, one of the people who worked there was involved with child porn. They evacuated b/c they didn't know just how hard it would be to nab the guy. You know, that "armed and dangerous" kind of thing....

The source is BS. Not surprised based on who posted it.

CONSPIRACY-PSEUDOSCIENCE
Sources in the Conspiracy-Pseudoscience category may publish unverifiable information that is not always supported by evidence. These sources may be untrustworthy for credible/verifiable information, therefore fact checking and further investigation is recommended on a per article basis when obtaining information from these sources. Factual Reporting: LOW

Notes: The Daily Conspiracy is appropriately named as all they do is publish conspiracies. They touch on all the familiar topics such as Aliens, Faked moon landing, 9-11 conspiracies and Chemtrails. Essentially, if it is a known conspiracy they cover it. Overall, this is a tin foil hat conspiracy website. (D. Van Zandt 2/25/2018)

A janitor who worked at the observatory was suspected to downloading child porn and distributing it on his laptop at work. He became increasingly agitated which led to the Feds' decision for evacuation.
