That's part of the Jane Hawk series and it's a good one.HaggardWitch wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 6:48 pm Is "The Crooked Staircase" a part of that series he's writing?

It's this month right? Is this the last one or do you think there will be more?

It is a series, this is the 3rd book. I read the first 2 on vacation this summer, they were really good!

I read "Phantoms" a long time ago. In general, I avoid series because I will feel locked-in. At the same time, I could be missing some good books.
I read Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and didn't like them. "Interview with the Vampire" was OK, but the others were bad. But I read them because I felt locked-in. I like to see events through to the end (like books).

I've read series like that, too. I'm starting to feel that way about the stephanie plum books. It's like she is out of material but keeps writing anyway.
