If we want to go to Florida in November

I know it can get pretty chilly in November in Florida but if we go further south, will it be warm enough to swim?

I'm trying to plan a corporate retreat for approximately 36 people but all of the properties large enough to accommodate us (we would prefer a villa as opposed to individual rooms) are in the panhandle. What do you think?

We went in December and wore shorts the whole trip. My kids played in the ocean and it was like 85 in the everglades.

We used to go at the end of every November and it was never too cold to swim, but that was in the palm beach area further south.

It can be. It really is a crap shoot. I found this:

I assume it would depend on where you live but we went in December. Everyone was wearing hoodies and jeans. My husband and I had shorts on.

In south Florida it can be warm enough to swim. North Florida like Jacksonville or St Augustine it gets iffy. The panhandle gets cold also. I’d bring clothes you can layer with just in case.

We will be in Disney in November and it should be plenty warm to swim as long as the sun is out. A family friend goes to the West Coast—Port Charlotte from December-June every year. Her pool is open when she gets there. So I’d say, yes, November will be plenty warm to swim.
