This all just makes me extremely sad, worried about this country, and frankly, a little scared of my conservative neighbors. Is this seriously what they support and believe?

Very disturbing language and concepts. It does make me question my connections in my own community at times. But I try to remember that tolerance grows out of first-hand experience with those that are different, and open exchanges without hostility. So I do my best to listen to those who think differently and speak from my own experience about how I see things.

That's very true. My community is a mix of conservative farmers and liberal hippy artists and musicians (with some liberal farmers thrown in). My friend group is a similar mix. But as in every community, there are individuals who are loud, antagonizing, and offensive and some conservatives in my county I find not just loud (and offensive) but potentially threatening and dangerous. This is the small group that attended Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville and has threatened of LGBTQ community and our community of migrants. I'm not sure I want to have a conversation with them. I kinda want to get another dog, lol.MonarchMom wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 4:22 pm Very disturbing language and concepts. Magats…
Cancer to society…
That’s how humans speak, and they think it’s funny so long as the insults align with their beliefs.
The book doesn’t seem to be about immigration though …
If you don’t understand communist revolutions, you aren’t ready for what’s coming.
The old rules are over. The old order is over. Accusations are evidence. Activism means bigotry and hate. Criminals are allowed to roam free. Citizens are locked up. An appetite for vengeance is unleashed—to deplatform, debank, destroy. This is the daily news, yet none of it’s new. Patterns from the past make sense of our present. They also foretell a terrifying future we might be condemned to endure.
For nearly 250 years, far-left uprisings have followed the same battle plans—from the first call for change to last innocent executed, from denial a revolution is even happening to declaration of the new order. Unhumans takes readers on a shocking, sweeping, and succinct journey through history to share the untold stories of radical takeovers that textbooks don’t teach.
And there is one conclusion: We're in a new revolution right now.
But this is not a book about ideology or politics. Unhumans reveals that communism, socialism, Marxism, and all other radical-isms are not philosophies but tactics—tactics that are specifically designed to unleash terror on everyday people and revoke their human rights to life, liberty, and property. These are the forces of unhumanity. This is what they do. Every. Single. Time. Unhumans steals their playbook, breaks apart their strategies piece by piece, and lays out the tactics of what it takes to fight back—and win, using real-world examples.

I’m not sure you’re the one to hold the discussion on how wrong it is to use dehumanizing language against large demographics of human beings.

I don't really but Posobiec was involved in Unite the Right, he was the "Pizzagate" conspiracy theorist, is a known neo-nazi collaborator, and was praising the Oath Keepers at Jan. 6th. A lot of mainstream media has been talking about him for years so I assumed that women in this forum would know who he was or look him up. I encourage you to look into him and a good place to start would be SPLC https://www.splcenter.org/splc-investig ... t-movement. You might understand why I'm concerned.Slimshandy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 6:00 pmSorry…don’t know.WellPreserved wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 5:55 pmThat was my first thought!
