I’m more upset about the fact that this even happened, than by the fact that they haven’t released their names yet. Who the f**k cares.

Those poor children. I read that 8 out of the 11 children have been treated and released. I am thankful for that. But all those kids are traumatized. Gun violence is traumatizing our children at parade celebrations, school, church, Walmart, movie theaters…unfortunately the list goes on. They deserve better.
And yet our country (this state) still has piss poor gun control laws.

My deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim: DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan

A quarrel? Seriously?

It seems as if the three suspects are juveniles and it was determined that one was not involved so he was released.

Because it’s an active investigation and they won’t risk causing vigilante violence. Plus two are minors. They already found out one wasn’t involved and released him, imagine if they had given out his name before they found out he was innocent. Their names really don’t matter to anyone outside the investigation, what does knowing them do for you?

A nearby city has had a spree of car breakins, they think they are mainly kids causing trouble because they usually are taking smaller things, but the police sent out warning people not to keep items of value in their car “such as cash, electronics, guns, etc.” Why is anyone keeping a gun in their car on a common enough basis that that had to be specified in the top three examples?? That should be illegal.

Two teens have been charged with weapons related offences and resisting arrest. Their names won’t be released yet because they’re juveniles, and these charges are therefore being handled in family court: https://www.kansascity.com/news/local/a ... 24617.html

The article explains that if/when they face additional more serious charges, there will be a mandatory certification hearing to see if they will be tried as adults and have the proceedings moved to criminal court.

I’m not a fan of her music there’s a few songs I like but that’s it. However, I will say the number of acts of kindness, it doesn’t come across as pandering or publicity, but more genuine.

Here are some names:

"A woman died and 22 others were injured during the shooting, which police said stemmed from the two men arguing. The charged men - identified as Dominic Miller and Lyndell Mays - were both shot and wounded during the incident.

Two others, teenagers, were charged with gun and resisting arrest violations last week.

Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker of Jackson County said at a press conference on Tuesday that the two adult men - Mr Miller and Mr Mays - had been charged with second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon."
