We use a prepaid electric service through our electric company that we pay once a month when my husband gets his SSDI check.

Our electric runs roughly $250-$300 in the winter, $175-$225 in the summer.

Is your heat electric too? Curious because we do M-Power too and we are averaging about $2.13 a day but are on gas for water heater and furnace.AZOldCoot wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:23 am We use a prepaid electric service through our electric company that we pay once a month when my husband gets his SSDI check.

The entire house is electric, including the water heater, and we have central heating and cooling.Quorra2.0 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 2:25 pmIs your heat electric too? We do need more insulation up in the attic and duct work done throughout the house so I'm thinking that could be contributing.

Usually $175-200 depending on how much our central a/c runs.

$100 or so monthly in the winter. More than double that in the summer.

A lot of these answers are going to depend on where people live. What's the outside temperature? For people here in Canada who have electric heat you can easily run $500 in the winter when it's really cold outside.
