S/O. Need product suggestions for my teens’ skincare routines - cleanser, moisturizer, etc. Give them up ladies! TIA
Also, they have extremely sensitive skin that is very prone to redness and is quite acne-prone.

My brother is acne prone and uses cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer. My 20 yr old prefers neutrogena ultra gentle daily cleanser in foaming and their moisturizer for sensitive skin. My 12 yr old uses the same cleanser as my 20 yr old but prefers the cetaphil moisturizer. Neither dd is acne prone though, but do have sensitive skin.
Here's a bump and I hope you get some great advice in this post, my kids never had acne or skin problems.

St. Ive's apricot scrub was the only thing that worked to get out blackheads when I was a teen. Thankfully I never did have bad acne but they actually make a blackhead clearing scrub now. They make one for oily skin too which DH says helps a lot.
Every once in a while I get an ingrown hair and the apricot scrub helps to work it out so I can tweeze it too.

My daughter's skin cleared up with TruSkin Daily C clenser, Truskin Tea Tree serum, C serum and C moisturizer. She also uses a gentle skin peeling once a week.

The one thing I have found that works the best is the Body Shops - Tea Tree line. But I am not sure if you can get it delivered to the US. My son uses the - Skin clearing face wash, mattifying toner, mattifying lotion (for day), and night lotion (for night). Then once a week he will use the anti-imprefection night mask. Seems like a lot but my girls used this and it works.

You will have to experiment with what works and give it at least four weeks unless they have a reaction to it. You may also find it gets worse before it gets better.

Dds have been going to the dermatologist for 7-8 years. We’ve switched derms in that time and have been seeing the top one in our area but the acne hasn’t cleared up. They’ve tried dozens of topicals and oral medications including Accutane. They’re starting to lose hope it’ll ever clear up.pinkbutterfly66 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 7:27 am My daughter's skin cleared up with TruSkin Daily C clenser, Truskin Tea Tree serum, C serum and C moisturizer.
