Flake or Do eet?

Long story short, I write for a blog (unpaid). They are teamed up with a local news station and some of the blog posts are featured on local segments on the news. The blog owners asked for volunteers for someone to write a post about back to school routines. I volunteered. I didn't realize it was for a news segment. I'm not a confident or outgoing person AT ALL. I'd rather not be on the news, at least not right now when my confidence is low.

I've already written the post. Do I flake or just be brave and do it anyway?
