Why wouldn’t you have sympathy for the kid? It wouldn’t be his/her fault.

He’s vaccinated on schedule for everything else. He’s never had the flu shot and I have no intention of ever allowing him to have it while I can.

He’s 9. I have 5 really good girlfriends- all with kids around the same age and we hang out all the time.

We all declared years ago we are pro-vax, nobody needs to question, and that’s that.

But I never do flu and I never tell them. I feel like it’s not a big deal since flu changes every year.

True story.

Go.
I dont care what others do with their kids but mine are all fully vaccinated.
If someone's kid gets sick and dies because their parent didnt have vaccinated them, I do not care.
If someone's kid becomes very ill because they werent vaccinated, I do not care.
I have no sympathy for the kid or the parents.

What about the child who is fully vaccinated and contracts said disease anyways, and dies?

Meh...Everything but HPV and flu shots here.

I don't share DD's vaccination history with friends or family, though.

One in a million chance of that happening!

My 18 year old grandson came home from college for Christmas break and has the flu - the doctor has him isolated at home, wearing a mask and taking medications. He’s really sick.
He never wanted to get a flu shot before...
He says he’s getting the flu shot every fall from now on.
I get one every year. Because I had the flu years ago - awful.
Be grateful there is a flu shot and all the other vaccinations.
He’s a smart kid.

My DD isn't fully vaccinated. She had a bad reaction to them as a baby. Multiple doctors said no more vaccines. I don't tell people in real life about it. They don't need to know anything about her medical history. She is my healthiest kid.

I don't do it because it might not even work. With the other vaccines, there's a 99% chance they will work. The flu shot is hit or miss.
