When I graduated from college I was working through a temp agency in NYC while interviewing. I ended up accepting an offer where I was temping. It was 1996 and the offer was $42k and my first year’s bonus was $11k. I actually cried when I got my first paycheck because of how much they took out in taxes and then again when I got my bonus check and 50 F***ing percent of it was missing

Good luck! I started at my job over five years ago as a temp and got hired on within a few months. Temp agencies are not a bad thing!
