Jazz it up with caramelized onions or sauteed shallots that's mixed in with the beans and topped with the fried onions and shredded cheddar cheeselunarprancer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 1:14 am Every year I’m assigned green bean casserole. EVERY YEAR

It's late! It's usually anon 2! LOLAnonymous 1 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 9:29 pmYou don't support being thankful for everything and everyone in your life.Anonymous 7 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 4:54 am Nothing. We don't support the values of Thanksgiving.
Before we eat we all give pause to reflect on all the good in our lives, we will give thanks for our health and happiness, we will think about those who cannot be with us and about those that are no longer with us. We will ask for peace and contentment for all…

Hugs. I am so sorry. First holiday's without our loved ones are rough.mommy_jules wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:43 pm Don’t have the menu decided yet. This is our first Thanksgiving without my mom, and she normally cooked almost everything. I always make the green bean casserole, so I’ll make that again this year, and I volunteered my DH to make the cornbread dressing. That’s all I know right now.
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.
My soul was ripped to shreds on 10/27/14

Pork loin
Salmon
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Dressing
Brussels sprouts
Carrots
Green bean casserole
Rolls
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
I'll do some kind of appetizers, but I haven't decided what yet. Maybe shrimp loaf or crab melts and a meat, cheese, and cracker tray.
We live in the NW and DH isn't a fan of turkey.
