Jazz it up with caramelized onions or sauteed shallots that's mixed in with the beans and topped with the fried onions and shredded cheddar cheese

You don't support being thankful for everything and everyone in your life.
Before we eat we all give pause to reflect on all the good in our lives, we will give thanks for our health and happiness, we will think about those who cannot be with us and about those that are no longer with us. We will ask for peace and contentment for all…
It's late! It's usually anon 2! LOL

Appetizers:
lil smokies in bbq sauce
pigs in a blanket (lil smokies wrapped in crescent rolls)
queso & chips
artichoke dip
jalapeno popper triangles (jalapeno popper mixture in filo dough)
tortellini salad (cheese tortellini with cherry tomatoes, feta cheese & greek dressing)
veggie tray/fruit tray/olive & pickle tray
homemade cheese ball & crackers

Main:
2 deep fried turkeys
spiral ham
mashed potatoes with gravy
cornbread stuffing with giblet gravy
bread stuffing (my brother & I hate cornbread stuffing)
green bean casserole
corn casserole
broccoli cheese & rice casserole
baked sweet potatoes w/ marshmallows
baked squash with onions & bacon
roasted brussel sprouts with bacon & parm cheese
jellied cranberry sauce (yuck)
homemade cranberry & orange sauce
salad
rolls

Desserts:
2 chocolate pies (old fashioned cooked on the stove homemade chocolate pie. 2 because 1 is to serve & 1 is to hide for me)
pumpkin pie
pecan pie
cherry pie
turtle cheesecake (homemade cheesecake with caramel & pecans)
dark chocolate brownies
apricot cake (my brothers contribution)
blueberry pie (my sis in laws contribution)

Beer/wine/sweet tea/sodas/water
Firstof all - What kind of a communist doesn't like cornbread! ;)

Second - holy smokes lady! I needed a nap after reading that. It sounds like an amazing feast. I hope you'll have some hands helping with all of that! My hat is off to you. I do about half of that and I'm DONE by the end of the day.

I always make the green bean casserole, so I’ll make that again this year, and I volunteered my DH to make the cornbread dressing. That’s all I know right now.
Hugs. I am so sorry. First holiday's without our loved ones are rough.
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.

Pork loin
Salmon
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Dressing
Brussels sprouts
Carrots
Green bean casserole
Rolls
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie

I'll do some kind of appetizers, but I haven't decided what yet. Maybe shrimp loaf or crab melts and a meat, cheese, and cracker tray.

We live in the NW and DH isn't a fan of turkey.
