LIEU described Taylor's testimony as "incredibly damaging to the president"

New: Per source in the room, Bill Taylor’s opening statement was 15 pages long and prompted “a lot of sighs and gasps.”
LIEU just emerged and described Taylor’s testimony as “incredibly damaging to the president.” Wouldn’t provide specifics. He said questioning of the witness has begun.
“In my 10 short months in Congress—it’s not even noon—and this is my most disturbing day in Congress so far. Very troubling.” -Rep Andy Levin, as he left Bill Taylor’s "alarming" deposition this morning.

It's a pretty consistent story that's coming out. Trump was running a shadow mini government putting Giuliani in charge of Ukrainian diplomacy. They schemed to get rid of the professional Ukrainian diplomat so that they could set out their agenda with no one in the way. Their agenda was simply finding dirt on Biden. Nothing to do with the United States best interest and everything to do with Trump personally.

There was no actual "dirt" to find. The goal was to get the Ukrainians to announce a formal investigation - that would plant the seeds of doubt in people's mind long enough to influence the election.

I know. And it's worked. There has been no dirt to be found but it has already done damage.
