Why are a lot of African Americanhairstyles still not considered professional?
What kind of hairstyles are you talking about specifically?
Dreadlocks are unsanitary no matter what race you are.

Even if taken care of "properly" they are unsanitary. Look up the research behind them. Even if you do everything the right way there is no way to truly wash all the way through a dreadlock.KendallsMom wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 8:20 pmOnly if they are not washed and cared for properly.Anonymous 2 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 8:10 pm What kind of hairstyles are you talking about specifically?

It would be nice if just one day could go by without someone somewhere whining about discrimination or what they perceive as discrimination. It's been done to death and people are getting more and more sick of it all so they stop listening and when it actually occurs, they just don't care anymore. Something to think hard about.
I'm sure you can find a bunch of research on it if you searched google. Dreads hold bacteria no matter who you are. There is also the opportunity for fungi, mold, yeast, etc to grow. I used to have them when I was younger and ignorant about them.
