It’s a problem with people who aren’t thinking straight.
And poorly raised children.
And the constant urging from gun manufacturers and the NRA for people to protect themselves from the “ bad guys ” by buying guns.( but they’re the bad guys in the long run)
Where in the world are you seeing/hearing constant urging from the gun manufacturers and the NRA about anything?
Don’t be naive.
Oh and just in case, here’s something:

No, libby. You don't get to make outrageous claims and then hide when called out on it. YOU made the claim, back it up, honey. You already have a reputation for posting links that don't say what you think they say. Now you gonna do that with your own words? Nope. Not gonna let you get away with that, not tonight.

How do you explain all the other countries in the world where they watch the same movies and they don’t have anywhere near the gun violence problem America has?
29again wrote: Mon Aug 26, 2019 8:40 pm Could we start with the actors in the movies with so much gun violence to either not lecture the country about gun violence or not participate in those movies? They can either put up or shut up, they can talk the talk pretty good, now it's time to walk the walk.

Cheese on a cracker, you are not naive. The NRA is no where near it was in the past.

There are NRA websites. They “ buy “ politicians. The politicians preach the very same “ protect yourself” theory. Guns are glorified. It’s all there . There are efforts to make it too easy to get guns.
You dont have to believe it if it upsets you.
But it’s true.

I'm not trying to. The question was whether we should not show gun violence in movies in an effort to curb gun violence in AMERICA. I suggested that maybe the actors in those movies with the gun violence should STFU until they stop making the movies that promote the violence they are so adamantly against. You know, stop with their double standard way of thinking.

Yes, the gun people "buy" politicians. Same as Monsanto does. Same as the pharmaceutical companies do. Same as every other special interest group in the whole country.

BTW, my family thinks I am very important. Why should I not have the right and the ability to defend myself, the same as all the celebrities do? Or is self-protection reserved for certain, special people only?

LOL
You want them to apologize for acting in films that include scenes with gun violence and explain that nobody should emulate them?
Bwahahaha 😆
