No, libby. You don't get to make outrageous claims and then hide when called out on it. YOU made the claim, back it up, honey. You already have a reputation for posting links that don't say what you think they say. Now you gonna do that with your own words? Nope. Not gonna let you get away with that, not tonight.
There are NRA websites. They “ buy “ politicians. The politicians preach the very same “ protect yourself” theory. Guns are glorified. It’s all there . There are efforts to make it too easy to get guns.
You dont have to believe it if it upsets you.
But it’s true.
So you aren't hearing/seeing ads from the gun manufacturers and the NRA all over the place?
Yes, the gun people "buy" politicians. Same as Monsanto does. Same as the pharmaceutical companies do. Same as every other special interest group in the whole country.

BTW, my family thinks I am very important. Why should I not have the right and the ability to defend myself, the same as all the celebrities do? Or is self-protection reserved for certain, special people only?
Haha.
I’m so glad your family wants you to protect yourself
Could you Be anymore self involved?

Which ones would those be?
Sean Connery
Matt Damon
Sylvester Stallone
Robert de Niro
George Clooney
Richard Gere
Kevin Costner

How many names do you want?
You're going to have to go back farther than those.

But I'm still the winner! They lied! They cheated! They stole the election!

But you do get my point, right?

Yes!
My earliest memory of seeing guns and shootings was a cowboy movie actor who played “Hopalong Cassidy” - William Boyd- back in the 1940’s.
But he is dead. He can’t make any speeches!
Seriously- this is too silly.

I'm not trying to. The question was whether we should not show gun violence in movies in an effort to curb gun violence in AMERICA. I suggested that maybe the actors in those movies with the gun violence should STFU until they stop making the movies that promote the violence they are so adamantly against. You know, stop with their double standard way of thinking.
Why can't you ignore them after seeing their movie characters? Maybe people shouldn't fund those violent movies by watching them.
