In mine I have: my wallet, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, gum and mints, glasses spray and “nerdwax”, a small notepad, a bag with wipes, pads and tampons, a small first aid bag with bandaids, allergy pills, benedryl and pain relievers, some metal straws, hand cream made by bees, nail file and clippers, keys (with a pair of tiny scissors and an eyeglass screwdriver, earbuds in a case, my pocket knife and way too many pens and chapsticks.

In the process of cleaning it out I also discovered bobby-pins and safety pins left over from marching band last fall. Apparently I need to clean it out more often....

Those are my essentials. I hate carrying a purse and would totally just put stuff in pockets but most of my work clothes don't have sufficient pockets.
