Not quite, since often the chocolate is home made, not store bought. There isn't as much of a focus on bought gifts and cards as there is in the US.

I hope they offer it at dd’s HS. She’s going into middle school but she really wants to take Japanese. I think they might.

Hope she gets the chance. Think there are only two or three in our district for HS that offer the class.
