according to imdb it was re-released in the US in 49, 59, 72, 76, and 2001Pjmm wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 11:03 amLol no I'm not THAT old. But I know I saw in the days before videotape. So one of two things happened. Either Disney re- released it in theaters periodically or they re- released it on television. I think I saw it re- released in the theater. It's the first movie I remember seeing anyway.
what was the first movie you saw in the theater?

Well I could have seen it in 1972. I really don't know the first movie I saw. It's the one i remember the most because I had an emotional reaction to it.mojogirl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 11:09 amaccording to imdb it was re-released in the US in 49, 59, 72, 76, and 2001Pjmm wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 11:03 amLol no I'm not THAT old. That would be a big - HELL NO for me. Wow! lol!!Dylexsmommy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 10:13 amThey do this yearly Jaws on the water movie somewhere in Texas, i think near Austin.
Basically watching it on floaties while wading in a big lake. I hear they also have actors that swim through the lake with fins also.
I want to go but that also seems terrifying.

The first one I clearly remember was The Little Mermaid, though I know I attended a few before that.

Me Too! I was 7. My older brother took me to see it. I was so confused during the first scene when the Storm Troopers were boarding the ship. I kept asking my brother which were the bad guys. I was so confused after he told me the Storm Troopers were bad and told him that wasn't possible. Why were the good guys wearing black and the bad guys wearing white? He told me to be quite and just watch the movie lol!

I am 47yrs old. My mom started taking me probably about the age of 4yrs old. The only thing I can guarantee is that it was a Disney movie I have no idea which one I saw 43yrs ago though.

I always remember Toy Story the clearest. It was 3rd grade, so I'm sure I had to have seen some before that, but the memory of going to see it is just always so clear to me.
