I had my third at 38. She's perfectly healthy

Definitely will have Down’s Syndrome? That idiotic comment alone would get me laughing at her ignorant face. There’s nothing “definite” in Medicine. Is there a higher risk as age increases? Yes. But that doesn’t make it “definite”.

Menopause means you can't have a baby. 37 simply means you'll be confused for their grandparent at their HS graduation unless you dye your hair.

37 is not too old. Each year after 35 your odds slightly increase of birth defects. Many women have healthy babies.

I wouldn't choose to get pregnant at that age. Regardless of it being higher risk for birth defects, I just don't have the energy I used to. I had my oldest at 24, and my youngest at 33. There is a huge difference in my energy levels between the two and I can only imagine it would be worse at 37.
your mother is seriously misinformed...if that was the case, most of humanity would have Down's...
Many have I'm sure. I wouldn’t have. I’m 39 now, and at 37 I had an 11 yo and an 8 yo. The thought of starting over with babies makes me cringe.
Had my one and only at 41 and she was perfect. The only problem I had was sciatica because I was on my feet all day.
