Thoughts and prayers are meaningless, won’t help and make the person who used the expression look lazy.
Families very much appreciate people thinking of them and many for praying for them.Ledina60 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 12:05 pmThoughts and prayers are meaningless, won’t help and make the person who used the expression look lazy.KnotaDinghy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 1:34 amThis comment on this subject is actually beneath you. If you really care, you do something to help. Saying “ thoughts and prayers” is way too easy. And overused.
There’s a truckload of them.
Perfect way to make a point about it.
My personal opinion is mine. I don’t intend to insult anyone or “ make light” of people . I just don’t think prayers help- I think the way to help people is to actually do something.KnotaDinghy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:41 pmFamilies very much appreciate people thinking of them and many for praying for them.Ledina60 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 12:05 pmThoughts and prayers are meaningless, won’t help and make the person who used the expression look lazy.KnotaDinghy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 1:34 am

Workplace violence definitely needs to be addressed by every Human Resources department at every company. There are indicators that someone exhibits. Just like we train for inclusion and diversity and harassment we need to also train people to identify the markers that someone is 'on the edge'.
Making light of people sending prayers is not helpful. And it is beneath you.

That’s the way millions of realistic people think. Realistic.
