My 9 year old DD want to be achmed the dead terrorist for Halloween. He is a puppet controlled by comedian Jeff dunham. My DD watches him and he is funny. But not really appreciate for a 9 year old costume. Plus I know someone will get their panties in bunch and can't take a freaking joke. And those who have never watched this comedian will not understand.
OMG! Sooooo inappropriate! My DD wants to be this for Halloween!

You don't see a problem with a child dressing up as a stereotype of an Islamic suicide bomber for Halloween?

Too early for Halloween posts. Easter hasn't even happened yet.
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.
My soul was ripped to shreds on 10/27/14

Hold that thought, until we get through the end of school, 4th of July and summer drama, school supply and start drama, then we can do halloween.
ETA: and Easter. I forgot to mention easter.

Fictional characters of any kind are fair game for this sort of thing.Olioxenfree wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 10:03 pmYou don't see a problem with a child dressing up as a stereotype of an Islamic suicide bomber for Halloween?
