Is there a way to opt out of all of this?

You can turn off notifications for it. Go to control panel, board preferences, notification settings, and select no for points notifications.

Not to opt out of it all?

Yea, I can’t exactly opt people out without turning it off for everyone, but you can choose to not have notifications and just pretend that it doesn’t exist.
