I graduated in 1993 and I didn't attend the 10th or the 20th reunion. I was kinda surprised that there wasn't a 25th last year, not that I was going to go anyway. You couldn't pay me enough to go to a high school reunion. I hated high school with a passion .

You're adults, you don't need the person who you voted for when you were a teenager to organize it in order to plan a reunion. Someone else could take it over.

I graduated in 99, still live in the same town I graduated in and will NEVER attend a reunion. The people I liked Im still in contact with and I don't have any desire to even look at the rest of them. LOL I have no idea who our class president even was. I don't remember voting for that bullshit in school. I probably didn't vote to be honest.

I graduated in 1997. Our class president organized a 10 year reunion and then seemed to drop off the face of the earth shortly after that. A few people started asking around on FB when our 20th was getting close, so one guy took the initiative and organized something.

Both times we had a family picnic/potluck in a park in the afternoon, and an evening event at a bar/restaurant for just the adults. Nothing too fancy.

We went to DH's 10 year and my 20 year. Both were ridiculous and just a bunch of idiots trying to relive their high school party days. We are still friends with several people from our respective high schools so we hung out with them. At my 20 year an old friend of mine and I got tired of answering questions about our brothers (who were both high school baseball stars) so we started answering people before they even asked the question lol. Mind you these are our little brothers so they were several years behind us in school.

Class of '85. We've had reunions for 5,10,20 & 30. There's always a mixer the night before at a local bar and a golf outing/formal dinner the following day. The mixers are fun. Haven't attended the formal festivities.Don't know if class president organizes, but for sure people who were on the student council do.

2000
yes and I didn't go.

Our Class President only invited her high school friends and then made a FB page regarding the event.

She then threw a fit a majority couldn't make it (15% of our class was in the military)

Out of 80 students only 5 showed up.
It was at a Dave and Busters in Philly-

And after the fact she posted on the same event page how disappointed she was at the turn out.
Next year is our 20th-still no clue if she's planning anything-god I hope not because she sucked at it

*To be clear-she planned everything within a week and we literally had a few days notice of said event

I graduated in 05 my husband in 04. He had a five year reunion at a local bar. His 10 year was at the sport and club(its a club that you pay a yearly fee and there’s a restaurant and pool darts etc). My 10 year was at the local casino they rented a hall there. Most of the info was through Facebook though.

I think it's ridiculous to have a class president plan reunions. It should be a committee. Life changes over 20 years.
