Awwww. I’m kind of in the same boat. My 9 year old dd needed a good trim, and I love her hair. It took so long for her to grow hair as a baby. It’s always been past her shoulders and pin straight. Last summer she got it cut just a smidge past her shoulders. We compromised. She wanted more short and we agreed on the length. The other day she went a bit above her shoulders what is it with most little girls wanting shorter hair?! She’s still beautiful, but man, I miss her long hair. She is in love with it, so that’s all that’s matters
