That is really cool that cake itself. I'm sure when you make your dd's cake it will look just as good as the picture of the cake all decorated.

My 'plan' is to put the fondant on the inside of the mold to get a good impression of all the detail that I can and then just lay it over the cake and use some plastic sculpting tools to enhance the details. Then maybe get some edible spray glitter and embellish.

The bottom one was sculpted. I'm not doing that. This is what the cake looks like undecorated.


I'm just going to make some fondant and cover the cake. I'm hoping that I can get a good mold impression of the details if I press the fondant inside the cake mold and then carefully remove it and put it down over top of the cake. Then maybe add some details if needed with some sculpting tools.
