Mine will be 21 in November!! I bought this cake pan to make her birthday cake!
I'm going to cover it with marshmallow fondant to look kinda like this.

That is really cool that cake itself. I'm sure when you make your dd's cake it will look just as good as the picture of the cake all decorated.pinkbutterfly66 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 3:33 pm Mine will be 21 in November!! I bought this cake pan to make her birthday cake!

My 'plan' is to put the fondant on the inside of the mold to get a good impression of all the detail that I can and then just lay it over the cake and use some plastic sculpting tools to enhance the details. Then maybe get some edible spray glitter and embellish.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 3:42 pmThat is really cool that cake itself. I'd never be able to make/decorate that cake! You must be very talented.pinkbutterfly66 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 3:33 pm Mine will be 21 in November!! I bought this cake pan to make her birthday cake!

The bottom one was sculpted. I'm not doing that. This is what the cake looks like undecorated.brandyblx wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:21 pmI'd never be able to make/decorate that cake! I'm just going to make some fondant and cover the cake. I'm hoping that I can get a good mold impression of the details if I press the fondant inside the cake mold and then carefully remove it and put it down over top of the cake. Then maybe add some details if needed with some sculpting tools.

Still makes you talented. I don't/can't bake. Never comes out the way I want it to.pinkbutterfly66 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 5:29 pmThe bottom one was sculpted. I'm not doing that.
