It's along the lines of what the doctor's told me about medication for my ADHD child. That sometimes you have to try several different kinds before you find one that fits just right. And also, what fits right for one child will fit very wrong for another.

But very applicable to most all life situations.

Its a good quote as long as its not used to make excuses for shit you should be taking care of.

Like some people would use it that as an excuse for never being on time and be like "Well just because you live your life showing up on time does not mean I have to." that type of shit.

But if applied to something like "I am happy living a clutter free lifestyle in a small home-and you are happy living in a big home filled with lots of stuff" well neither party is wrong in this case. No one is being hurt or rude.

Then it applies well in situations like that
