And?? My almost eight year olds go to bed at 7:30. They are up 5:30 every morning and we start school work after their dad leaves for work at 6:00. So usually about 6:30-9, then they have online work while my oldest has online classes. Not everyone lives your schedule. If we didn't start early I just wouldn't have time for everything on my plate. They are happy with our schedule so I fail to see what the issue is with going to bed early.
Projection much? I never said if it was a good thing or a bad thing?
So why did you question it?

Why would that have anything to do with you? He's 15, that's his problem. You are just there to deal out the punishments if he doesn't get it done.
I used to hate that because ds15 is known for sleeping in class if he's up too late. He seems to be better this year. I've told him this year if you procrastinate that's YOUR problem and so are your grades. You want me off your back keep them up. And since he doesn't want me 'all up in his business' checking the online grades, yelling at him, he's been on top of stuff.

I have 5, but two are adults. The 3 that are making me crazy are 14, 12 and 10 the two youngest go to bed at 830.
Your 12 and 10 yo go to bed at 830?
This was my thought as well. Of course, because my dh has always worked odd hours, we've never kept a 'traditional' schedule. Still, that seems early to me, for kids that age.
If ds15 didn't take a nap every day like a toddler lol he'd probably be in bed at 8:30 too. If he wants to nap fine with me.
