And?? My almost eight year olds go to bed at 7:30. They are up 5:30 every morning and we start school work after their dad leaves for work at 6:00. So usually about 6:30-9, then they have online work while my oldest has online classes. Not everyone lives your schedule. If we didn't start early I just wouldn't have time for everything on my plate. They are happy with our schedule so I fail to see what the issue is with going to bed early.
If everyone doesn’t calm down mommy is going to lose her shit!!!

I used to hate that because ds15 is known for sleeping in class if he's up too late. He seems to be better this year. I've told him this year if you procrastinate that's YOUR problem and so are your grades. You want me off your back keep them up. And since he doesn't want me 'all up in his business' checking the online grades, yelling at him, he's been on top of stuff.Olioxenfree wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:46 pmWhy would that have anything to do with you? He's 15, that's his problem. You are just there to deal out the punishments if he doesn't get it done.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:41 pm Annnnnnd my 15 year old just pulled out homework that’s due tomorrow He’s only had 3 days!

If ds15 didn't take a nap every day like a toddler lol he'd probably be in bed at 8:30 too. If he wants to nap fine with me.Iffrinn wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 10:49 amThis was my thought as well. Of course, because my dh has always worked odd hours, we've never kept a 'traditional' schedule. Still, that seems early to me, for kids that age.QuantumNursing wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 10:37 pmYour 12 and 10 yo go to bed at 830?Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:34 pm

I second this! Wear some ear plugs or ear buds also. LolRedBottoms wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:57 pm drink a glass of wine-eat some chocolate and put them to bed early
