What would you have done?

You should STENCIL these words on your BLUE BIN: " We have no returnable cans/bottles."
LOL What a pain that must be when they make a mess. I wouldn't care that they were going through my blue bin so that they could earn some cash. But I would care if they were leaving that junk all over my sidewalk. Dang it!

I missed recycling last week, and mistakenly put it out Wednesday morning. Then I looked on my calendar. Oopps! Biggest issue we have here are the homeless digging through the blue bin(recycling) for returnable cans/bottles. And making a mess. I personally don't put them in there. Still doesn't stop them going through the bin though.

You looked through someone else's trash bag? That's weird.

Are you sure it wasn't the raccoons that moved your neighbor's trash can?
They can be sneaky little things.

I probably would have put it back in front of their house too. They didn't ask first, they don't get to just assume they can do that.

The neighbours on our street share garbage restrictions all the time. Even some of our friends the other side of the blvd have garbage on Wednesdays where our's is Friday so we sometimes put out early there, or they put some later on our driveway.

No big deal in my opinion unless it gets out of hand.

You really dug through a bag of trash to figure out who it belonged to? I wouldn’t have went that far, and that is I even noticed.
