Obviously there’s no rational basis behind someone killing their family but...why? He could have just left. There wasn’t even a chance he could have gotten away with this - he didn’t pretend to be sad or concerned in that interview, he was the last person to see them all alive after spending the weekend with the kids, there was a small window of time where 3 people being kidnapped in broad daylight was super unlikely and he dumped their bodies at his workplace. But he clearly tried to cover it up anyway.

It's bizarre. So sad too.
