I am sorry.
I would encourage him to talk to me about why he feels the need for his hard work, sacrifice and pay day to be acknowledged by others.

I dont blame them either. I even want to avoid himDiamepphyre wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 11:24 am I don't blame people for wanting to avoid you. Class doesn't need to brag.

I'll give him 2 cool points.
If you've never had and and then you get it sometimes it takes a minute for the novelty to wear off..I'm sure he will calm down in a few years. Enjoy your wealth and privilege..

There's a separate gold luxury card from MasterCard. It's well above the platinum.

Platinum cards have higher limits, better rewards, better interest rates, but usually a higher annual fee.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:11 amFor mastercards at least (I have never had the others) the gold card is the best you can get. I dont really know what the difference is between the black and the gold card. I just know the gold card costs more each year. In the end they are just cards and not even a big deal.RedBottoms wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:09 am I thought black cards were better. Aren't they the ones with no credit limit? I think my Dad had one

I would actually be embarrassed to hand someone a gold plated credit card.

I think that’s kind of unfair. If DH suddenly felt the need to start making overt displays of wealth in front of everyone I would be absolutely mortified.highlandmum wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:27 amYou do realize you are trying to brag on here and in all honest not impressing anyone. Guess the apple does not fall far from the tree.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:17 amWe got invited to use both the black card and the gold card. They are all exclusive cards ours are just through mastercard.highlandmum wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:14 am
American Express Centurion cards are by invite only. The person has to spend $250,000 on the card in a given year and pay it off right away. Kind of in another universe from a gold card. It is one exclusive card.

OP is talking about an invite card, not just a normal gold card.
