What an odd question. Insurance covers a rental car. That'swhatshesaid wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:11 amWhat do you do when either of your cars are in the shop? It must be regional thing. That’s not how car insurance works here at all. In 30 years, I’ve never had a policy that didn’t cover other drivers, other than my commercial policy.Fullxbusymom wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:08 amI live in New England have State Farm Insurance and they only cover me. When married it covered myself and my husband only. Anyone else to be covered needs to be listed as a driver for that vehicle.bluebunnybabe wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:57 pmYour insurance really doesn’t cover someone borrowing your car? That’s kind of odd.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:01 pm
How would that cover friends and family driving your car?

Lol Oh, he also drives my car when it needs an oil change or mechanical work. I don’t have to take it in. He likes to.![]()
How is having a rental car more of a hassle than having to share a car? That'swhatshesaid wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:31 amSeems like a hassle to me but like I said before, whatever.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:14 amWhat an odd question. For me it would be but you do you. I've never in my life heard of anyone not allowing their spouse to drive their car for such a ridiculous reason. It must suck not to be able to trust the person you live with.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 10:04 amHow is having a rental car more of a hassle than having to share a car? That'swhatshesaid wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:31 amSeems like a hassle to me but like I said before, whatever.

You choose it. My insurance will cover any licensed driver over 18 or 21.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:01 pmHow would that cover friends and family driving your car?Olioxenfree wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:00 pm My husband and I have a combined insurance policy, so this is not an issue.
When your car is in for inspection, your insurance covers a rental???
