Pretty sure she wrote that herself.

Okay. I was wrong. I’m good at admitting it.

Fact is, those benefits do come with more government control over the population. That wouldn’t fly in the good, old U.S of A. I mean, look at the fit they’re throwing by the suggestion of legislating vaccines. Imagine what they’ll do if someone suggested that babies can only be named from a list of government approved names, like they do in Denmark? All the parents of Katcheekas, Yordekas, Heavenly Cumulus, D’Pitains and Bhreettahneeys in America would throw a fit.
One idea behind these socialist countries is that if you want benefits, you have to take some responsibility as well. And that the social good sometimes requires sacrificing some personal liberties. That’s the opposite view of American society.

Everyone knows the most successful socialist democracies are Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Canada, Netherlands. These countries all have hugely successful socialist programs. Other democracies have many more parties than we do including green parties and socialist parties and aren’t scared of the word socialism and “Green”.

Capitalism has its share of problems too, mostly with wealth inequality, a new study shows wealth concentration is at levels that haven’t been seen since the 1920’s just before the Great Depression.

Republicans have also been conditioned to point out the top 10% pay most of the income taxes. Not surprising since the 400 richest Americans own more equity than the bottom 60%, or 150 million Americans. The worry over this handful of Americans who are doing just fine fascinates me.
Everyone knows those are free market, capitalist countries.
News to them. They are democratic socialists with free markets, capitalism and huge socialist programs. These countries pay twice as much in taxes as Americans and all of their residents are entitled to the social benefits the government offers.

Denmark residents pay about 50% in taxes but receive free healthcare, maternity leave paid for one year, free college, all families with children receive an allowance, elder care free, among others social benefits.

If we replace "socialist democracies" with "compassionate capitalism" I wonder if more people in the US would be won over?
No probably not. Denmark, Norway and others have the means to pay the higher taxes necessary to make socialism work. We have socialist programs ourselves like EIC, welfare, social security. But many of use either can't or aren't willing to pay the income taxes Denmark does. Also the idea of the individual coming here and working his or her way up from rags to riches with literally no help is pretty ingrained in today's culture. We have to change our very culture before socialism will work here. Businesses would have to pay higher wages and in return we would have to be okay with that higher percentage going to social programs. And frankly my cat will gain the ability to speak English before that happens the rate America is going.

How is Canada a socialist country?
Canada has forms of socialism, it’s not 100% a socialist country. I said there were no 100% socialist countries, just countries who aren’t afraid of the word and know how to use it correctly.

In this country middle class republicans have been conditioned to see it as evil even when they dont fully understand it and it’s in their own best interest. They fight against taxing the 1% harder than the 1% does.

right or wrong

I laugh that anyone thinks that wiki is a source
Please note the difference between a reference (something you refer someone else towards, for them to get further information) and a source that you yourself drew upon.

If you're not yet aware that I do obsessive levels of research, from a wide range of independent sources, for the stuff I write, you've just not been paying attention. :-)
The people reading your stuff - don't know what a source, or research is-
Taking that into account is a neccessity.

They also don't know the difference between facts, opinions and wild speculation.
Lol, have you looked at your "sources" lately...Patriot Post...HAHAHA.
