If we replace "socialist democracies" with "compassionate capitalism" I wonder if more people in the US would be won over?

News to them. They are democratic socialists with free markets, capitalism and huge socialist programs. These countries pay twice as much in taxes as Americans and all of their residents are entitled to the social benefits the government offers.

Denmark residents pay about 50% in taxes but receive free healthcare, maternity leave paid for one year, free college, all families with children receive an allowance, elder care free, among others social benefits.

Please note the difference between a reference (something you refer someone else towards, for them to get further information) and a source that you yourself drew upon.

If you're not yet aware that I do obsessive levels of research, from a wide range of independent sources, for the stuff I write, you've just not been paying attention.
