Everyone knows the most successful socialist democracies are Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Canada, Netherlands. These countries all have hugely successful socialist programs. Other democracies have many more parties than we do including green parties and socialist parties and aren’t scared of the word socialism and “Green”.

Capitalism has its share of problems too, mostly with wealth inequality, a new study shows wealth concentration is at levels that haven’t been seen since the 1920’s just before the Great Depression.

Republicans have also been conditioned to point out the top 10% pay most of the income taxes. Not surprising since the 400 richest Americans own more equity than the bottom 60%, or 150 million Americans. The worry over this handful of Americans who are doing just fine fascinates me.
If we replace "socialist democracies" with "compassionate capitalism" I wonder if more people in the US would be won over?
The same people would sneer at the word compassionate.

Everyone knows those are free market, capitalist countries.

News to them. They are democratic socialists with free markets, capitalism and huge socialist programs. These countries pay twice as much in taxes as Americans and all of their residents are entitled to the social benefits the government offers.

Denmark residents pay about 50% in taxes but receive free healthcare, maternity leave paid for one year, free college, all families with children receive an allowance, elder care free, among others social benefits.

I laugh that anyone thinks that wiki is a source
Please note the difference between a reference (something you refer someone else towards, for them to get further information) and a source that you yourself drew upon.

If you're not yet aware that I do obsessive levels of research, from a wide range of independent sources, for the stuff I write, you've just not been paying attention. :-)

The people reading your stuff - don't know what a source, or research is-
Taking that into account is a neccessity.

They also don't know the difference between facts, opinions and wild speculation.
