I’m making baked beans from scratch.
Usually I use only white beans then later add my own bbq sauce and then bake.
This time I didn’t have enough white beans so I used a mix of white beans and red beans.
Huge mistake… or it’s fine?
Have I made an awful mistake… or will I be fine…

Yum! It's not only perfectly fine, but imo, a combination of different types of beans makes it even better!

It will be great. I almost always use multiple kinds of beans!

You're fine. Traditionally, baked beans are made from white beans but adding other beans is not going to affect the flavor, consistency, or even color significantly. Just don't use broad beans!
