What do they mean?

Some threads have little green circles with , some are just gray circles. I can’t figure out what they mean. I’m sure it’s unimportant but the curiosity is killing me lol.

It just tells people on the forum, you're visibly online at the moment. You can shut those off I believe.

Yep under user control panel, you click on the little lines, click on board settings, and you can select if it shows your online status or not.
