Also, a mullet…I think he was joking, but wasn’t taking any chances.
Aww I love the mullet on certain guys and would allow it lol.

This made me laugh. What can’t he have a cow?
It’s an investment I’m not ready to commit to, and I’m not sure about raw milk.

Do you have other farm animals or is it a random want?

Along a similar line, my hubby shaved off his beard a few years ago — and I was like “ugh, no, grow that right back, you look like an infant,” lol.

I request he keep a nice short neatly trimmed beard now at all times…absolutely would not allow a mullet either, haha!

Yeah, we have like a mini farm/homestead thing. Right now we have chickens, a turkey who is basically a pet at this point, and sheep.

My husband has a mother. He doesn’t need me to tell him NO. He works, I work, if either of us want something we buy it.

He really wants one but there are just too many stories around here (beach town) of guys going out in the inlet then turning up dead in the ocean. I'm just paranoid about it.

Thank you for actually answering the question and not pretending a wife never says no to anything. Funny thing my DH has a motorcycle and I didn't mind that, but no to the kayak lol. A motorcycle is much more dangerous and more accidents than a kayak. I make no sense.
It's not pretending.

Every marriage is different and you have asked a question that perhaps you should have specified would be graded.

Your marriage is your own.
There is NO WAY your husband has never picked up an ugly hat in a store and you said no that thing is ugly, or he wanted to paint your bedroom red and you said no that color is too dark, or he wanted to pick up an old car and fix up and you said we have no room for that in the driveway. Come on now!
Why is that strange?

Lol my husband dresses like a communist, doesn’t have anything to do with the interior decoration of the house and if he wants a car he gets one…

Why would these decisions be something a wife would have to have a problem with?

That has never happened in my marriage. Not once.
