I've never understood who gave anyone permission to decide that it wasn't legal. No one can ever clearly articulate why it should bother anyone.

Sure. It is not legal in my state and probably never will be since I am in the Bible Belt.

I don't think marriage should be a legal thing. I think it should be religious, handfasting or whatever your level of commitment but not a legal, government involved thing.

What state do you live in? Last i checked it was federally legal and had been since June 26 2015 .
