spin off from the pink eye post
In that post the OP said that her children only go to school and home. Never anywhere else. No shopping, no restaurants, no libraries, no parks, no friends house. Do you find that normal?

This is CM so her kids, like many kids here, are probably so highly allergic to things even being in a 1000000000000 foot mansion with an allergen on the other side of where they are can set them off so she has to keep them out of the public besides school for their safety.

Like?
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.
My soul was ripped to shreds on 10/27/14

I find it hard to believe that a parent who wouldn’t take their kids to the grocery store, library, park etc. would not also home school. So no, it’s not normal — that mother is just overly dramatic.

See now I don't know that she was trolling.
I think the main thing she was trying to evoke a response about was "people sending kids to school when they know they are sick." I just think she didn't do a good job of focusing on that point.
