ok so hubbys triglycerides are getting a little high. i need some realistic meals that are healthier. Ex. hes not gonna eat quinoa with black beans, stuff like that. we already eat veggies with our meals, any vegetarian ideas that can fulfill a meat eater whose resistent to change? we already don't keep junk food in the house, not sure what else he eats at work besides what he packs. his dr suggested meals with beans but he doesn't really care for beans. so any ideas?
yes im googling but its coming up with all this stuff that he would never eat.

Shifting the portions is a good way make change gradually. Instead of steak with a side salad, try having a main course salad with thin strips of steak on top, and plenty of roasted peppers, zucchini and onions for flavor.
We like tacos with ground turkey, beans, roasted tomatoes and lettuce. In that dish beans add a flavor rather than being the main ingredient - but are still a healthy addition.
