I saw this on Twitter. DOJ lawyer arguing before three court judges defending inhumane conditions as meeting safe and sanitary under the standing agreement to provide such conditions to migrants held in crowded cages. She tried to argue that toothpaste and toothbrushes do mot fall under the agreement, that aluminum sheets on concrete floors with lights continuously on without dimming meet such conditions. Judges didn’t buy it snd stated that such lack of sleep in such crowded on concrete floors is not safe or sanitary.
The tragedy of our DOJ is that they don’t even know what is just and humane treatment under this administration.
trump loves to blame Obama when he couldn’t care less about these lives, saying that it is this way bc of Obama’s policies.
Yet, he has no problem using EO to undo Obama’s environmental policies at a drop of a hat. He’s no POTUS , but he is a POS.

Why would someone who was held as a hostage not be deserving of at least a bit of respect in regards to listening to what he is saying about how prisoners should be treated when it comes to health and hygiene?
As the judge here said as well, if they are not given soap or toothbrushes, it is not a sanitary condition. Is the judge now going to be ridiculed and mocked for that standpoint ... or at some point do we all have to admit that there are certain standards that need to be met in order to give prisoners proper sanitation?
