I just click new then scroll through to see what might look interesting. I don't usually open posts that are clearly political but I really just hate accidentally opening anything from news and politics because those women are freaking annoying in there. No post is ever anything more than children whining. LOL

I don’t think I can set that up but I could just hide news and politics from you. That way you don’t see any of the posts.

That works. I just remember being on the new posts section on CM and the group and OP were both clearly labeled. That way I at least could make an informed decision on if I felt like dealing with that mess. Ok, so, I found something I can try that might work. I’ll set it up sometime today in a test style/forum so if I break it hopefully it doesn’t effect the board lol.

Another idea that might be easier: Notification when someone comments on a post you've created.
Several times now I've made a post, then forgotten all about it. Once I do remember and get back to it there's several replies that I never saw.

I used to be a people person
Then people ruined it

That’s actually a feature you have to turn on and new users now have it turned on by default now.
- Go to your user control panel
- Click on board preferences
- Click on posting preferences
- Then switch “notify me upon replies by default” from no to yes.
