Nixon resigned before he was impeached. They had the articles of impeachment were prepared previously— you should know that.

There was solid evidence that would have been enough to impeach Nixon. There was a tape recording of him talking about the wiretap or something. It has been so long since Watergate, my memory is fuzzy. I thought it was stupid to impeach Clinton for banging interns in the Oval Office. They don't have anything solid for Trump, so yes it would be a waste of time. Lack of qualifications and being a jackass is not an impeachable offense.

I realize it’s hard to admit you have made an error when voting for him .
Nixon supporters had a hard time too. In fact I know a few people who still insist he was innocent.

I have no regrets voting for Trump. You should never regret voting for someone. Voting the way we want, is a right and privelige not available in many countries. Many countries, the people dont get to choose their leaders. We do. But. Come 2020, I will vote independent. I have already decided that.
