Pinecone Tree Topper
Artificial snow spray is the latest thing you never knew you needed. Add a few spritzes here and there, and you'll be looking at a magical indoor winter wonderland.

Pinecone Tree Topper
Spray eight pinecones (about 4" long) with snow spray; let dry. Hot-glue stick to back of cardboard circle (it will anchor topper to tree; use twist ties if needed). Turn over and hot-glue a small round pinecone to center of cardboard. Glue long pinecones around center cone to form star.

Metallic Spheres
If you've got kitchen twine and office supplies, you can make your own ornaments. It's as simple as wrapping and studding styrofoam spheres.

Treat-Filled Cornucopias
Little paper cones overflowing with truffles? Yes, please! The decorations double as easy party favors for guests — or a welcome treat for "Santa."

Cornucopia Ornaments
Candy-filled paper cones are ornaments now, party favors later. In a well-ventilated area, working over newspaper, adhere gold origami squares to poster board with adhesive spray. Use scissors to cut out poster board squares along edge of gold paper. On each square, create a 6" cone shape with a compass. (Or, use a pencil and ruler: Align ruler along one side, making a dot at the 6" point with pencil. With end of ruler still in place, angle ruler about an inch into square and make another dot. Continue this process until you've created an arch of dots; connect dots with pencil. Cut along the arched line.) Slowly bend paper into cone shape, taking care not to crease cone; hot-glue sides together to secure. Cut ribbon to fit around top edge of cone and adhere with a glue gun, adding a spot of glue every inch. Glue ends of a ribbon to both sides of cone's interior so it can be hung.
