The religious fanatics love Israel for their own selfish reasons. They think it’s their holy land and the Palestinians are just in their way.

It's all a damn manipulation of scripture. What kills me is how so many of them fall right in line with the idea that no Arabs ever lived in this non-existent place called Palestine. How in the heck would that even be possible, lol?

Exactly. The evangelicals Trump panders to so much don’t really support Jews. The most hateful person I ever encountered on Cafemom was one of them, who loved to send everyone to “Hell”, starting with the evil Jews who denied and then killed Jesus. But, oh yes, they have to support Israel, why? I mean, seriously, what’s their logic behind it? After all, we supposedly killed Jesus, Muslims didn’t even exist then, Jesus in Judaism is a human being, a historical figure, Islam at least gave him prophet status, so why give US preference? I would love to know what makes us so worthy in their eyes, even if we’ll all end up burning in Hell.

It absolutely is not a lie, Israel is an occupying force and Israeli settlers have been pushing Palestinians out of their homes for years. Palestinians are dying in this conflict at much higher rates than Israelis and the Israelis are certainly not innocent of targeting Palestinian children on numerous occasions. They are at war and war is ugly but we are certainly not talking about a legion of moral purists vs a terrorist organization here. Maybe you should educate yourself because there is nothing distorted about my views of the factual history of this conflict.
