It doesn't matter so much if Trump thought there was a quid pro quo/blackmail/extortion or whatever. What matters is if Pres. Of Ukraine interpreted the request that way. And if he did, two things are certain...one, he would never admit it, and two, any "results of an investigation into Bidens" would be unreliable.
