Your brother died of cancer? Sorry for your loss. 😔 How old was he?

My brother also died from brain cancer just a year ago (August 12). He never had his 50th birthday. It’s an terrible, awful disease and my heart breaks now for anyone suffering from it and the people around them who love them.

I think it will be very difficult to find a cure for all cancers since there are so many types. My grandfather died of pancreatic cancer in the 90s. It unfortunately spread fast.

He would have had his 50th birthday in a couple of months.

RIP baby.😢

Cancer can just f**k right off.

I wish you well RBG.
So sorry 💔
Thank you. In just a couple of days it will be a year since the diagnosis. He woke me up very early that morning and said, "Baby, I need to go to the hospital. I'm dying." It haunts me.
That is haunting. Sorry for your loss.

Money and availability to preventative health care screenings. Catching it quickly is imperative. And genetics, let's not forget that.

Or maybe she's a member of the Bilderberg Group :/

Maybe it's a different group she's a member of... I'm not sure we know the names of ALL the groups.

Did anyone ever think -- What if they really do have cures for all this? What then?
I'm sorry, but right now I can't talk about this.
I understand, after reading through the comments....
Please, accept my apologies, and my sympathy. I am so sorry for your loss.

How many members have mentioned their family and friends who have had pancreatic cancer and did not make it through? And we are supposed to believe that this very elderly woman will make it through her 4th cancer diagnosis, and 2 of those have been for cancers that do not have high odds for survival?

Who is wondering what kinds of drugs and/or treatments this one woman is getting that the rest of the population is NOT getting? Isn't that a good question to ask? What are the odds of someone surviving so many different kinds of cancer in a relatively short time? And yet, none of OUR family members/friends can...... something ain't right here.

My ma and i used to debate this for years. I've said they have a cure but they just silence anyone that wants to bring it forward. Pharmaceuticals is over a $30 Billion dollar industry. They're not going to crash that.

People of means and connections do have ways to procure things sometimes. That much is true. But - if Ruth had access to a cure, McCain would likely have had access to the same resources, no? I'm not so sure she has access to anything.

I think she's just a crusty old broad. Something we all should aspire to! LOL. I was told when going through my rounds that it's your attitude in large part that helps with survival. Ruth very clearly feels like she still has work to do. She's determined to soldier on. I might not agree with her on everything, but I respect the hell out of the ol' gal!

My heart goes out to her loved ones. I hope they can make the time she has left a happy and fulfilling one.

Cancer is the most disgusting thing in the world and I can’t wait for the time we kick its ass.
Yes it is. My BIL died from it.

Good for her that she can still get go on.

There is honor in dying doing what you want/love. If she dies presiding over a case , so be it.

While money can buy a lot, it didn’t help Steve Jobs. RBG is just one tough cookie. Rock on, RBG! Rock on!

Tenacious, ornery cuss that she is, she's still hanging in there. :)

A lot seems to be more available for those diagnosed with a disease that has been called the "Silent Killer" for so long...pancreatic cancer.

My late father passed away from it over 25 years ago and only 16 days after being diagnosed. They just simply did not find out WHAT he had until it was too late. :(

Well, I do believe they have cures for everything, they just don't make nearly as much $$ if they cure our diseases, so they keep us sick, to some degree. I also believe that all the shit they put in our food helps to make/keep us sick. And I agree with you that attitude helps a LOT, lol. It does!

Oh, and with RBG, I have heard they put in a bile stent, which is not good news apparently.... not in the medical field, so I don't know, just something I read elsewhere.

Yes, agreed. The GMO seeds that our food is grown from, antibiotics and hormones in our meat, and all the crap in the air doesn't help our health at all. The more we "advance" the sicker our population becomes it seems.
