They were pale white .
When they came through Ellis Island it was a legal port. And most people that came through there had to get immunizations and have proof that they would have a job.
Yah I know.
We toured Ellis Island and got information about the process and the people who immigrated.
My Scandinavian family were farmers. They built a home and grew crops.
So they came here legally!

Trump had announced the raids Monday in a surprise tweet that ignited a frenzy of fear in immigrant communities nationwide and drew criticism from law enforcement and elected officials in California, New York and other states. Then, in a move that has become a hallmark of his chaotic presidency, he reversed the plan in a tweet Saturday, mere hours before the raids were to begin.

Interesting.
There was a rumor that Putin changed his mind!
It sounds a little far fetched but when it comes to Trump, who knows.

It’s like people don’t understand the difference between legal and illegal.

I want to know if they're also rounding up and deporting the 50,000 (5,000 in NYC alone) undocumented Irish.

Not mine. I don't associate with criminals who willingly break our laws and expect American tax payers to support them.
Are your children in school? Chances are they have a friend or classmate that has an undocumented family member. Unless you don't allow them to associate with "foreign" kids?
In my town you now have to show proof of citizenship before the kids go to school. We had a max exodus. They fled to the next state. They have places full of furniture and pets.
Proof of citizenship? Are you sure, because that's illegal on the federal level for public schools?

Have you heard anything about Europeans being deported on a mass scale for over staying their visas?

It seems the Irish are also celebrating the NYC law for drivers licenses.
