I didn't expect to miss him at all...

But the 4th is his favorite holiday. The only day it was guaranteed that he was in a good mood. And he loved doing fireworks with my kids. I missed him all day. But it is a million times better that he's gone.

I do this sometimes too. With both my ex-husband and my ex-boyfriend.
Now the memories are starting to group together and i find myself with a smile on my face thinking about it.

Having some good memories isn't a bad thing. I have many with my ex as well.
