That's where we kept ours set when we lived in FL. It felt plenty cool when coming in from the 90+ degrees it was in the summers there. In the winter, we kept the heat at 68 and wore sweaters. I get cold easy, but a stocking cap helped - you lose a lot of heat through your head. It was worth not paying $400-$500 a month on electricity; our highest bill was $230.
